(San Diego, CA) – Valley Children’s first-year pediatric resident, Dr. Chloe Kupelian, presented her research in a poster presentation at Digestive Disease Week® in San Diego this week. The presentation, “Probe-Based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy Offers an In-Vivo Real Time Assessment of the Mucosa in Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease,” highlighted research Dr. Kupelian completed with Valley Children’s pediatric gastroenterologist and Pediatric Residency Program Director Dr. Karla Au Yeung.
Digestive Disease Week is an annual conference that provides medical professionals in the field of gastroenterology a networking opportunity to connect with the most up-to-date research and resources. Dr. Kupelian is part of Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Class of 2021. A native of Santa Clarita, California, she chose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program with the goal of pursuing a career in pediatric gastroenterology.
