For Families
Welcome to Valley Children’s Hospital. Everyone is here for you and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
We care for kids like they are our own
Getting great medical care can be a positive experience. Here at Valley Children’s Hospital we take a family-centered approach to patient care. That means parents are partners in the medical treatment their children receive.
Kids are Not Small Adults
Children are constantly growing and changing. Our doctors, nurses and other professionals have devoted their lives to children’s health care. Day in and day out, all we work with are kids.
Our Promise to Families
During your stay at Valley Children’s Hospital, you will probably have different experiences and emotions. Highs and lows, good times and bad, worry, happiness, relief and thankfulness - just to name few.
Through it all, we promise to remember that you are the main person in your child’s life. Your presence is welcomed and encouraged. As you work with the healthcare team, we invite you to participate in the care and decisions affecting your child. We are here to support you and meet your child’s needs. Please let us know what is best for your child and your family.
