Why did you choose Valley Children's Pediatric Residency Program?
From the moment I first stepped foot at Valley Children’s Hospital, I could immediately sense how much the faculty and residents loved what they do. Their passion for patient care, commitment to advocacy in the community, and desire to educate the next generation of pediatricians all drew me to pursue my residency training at this inspiring hospital.

Hobbies:
Running and hiking, singing anything Broadway and Disney, loving on my pup Leo, traveling to new places and learning about new cultures, baking and cooking, and knitting

Advocacy/Research Accomplishments:
I am passionate about providing medical care to patients in underserved communities both domestically and abroad. In medical school, I participated in a global health elective to Bungoma, Kenya, where we provided care to patients in surrounding villages through our mobile clinic, and I hope to continue this global advocacy work in the future. Throughout my education, I have also participated in multiple basic science research projects in the fields of genetics and signal transduction.

Care Philosophy:
I aspire to help create equal access to medical care to all patients, regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, and gender identity. I am also passionate about addressing aspects of mental health, reproductive health, and home safety with my patients.
