About Me:
I was adopted from Russia when I was three and a half years old. I grew up in Tehachapi, where I met my wife. Together, we have three beautiful, energetic children who motivate me to work harder each day. Out of all the specialties in medicine, I chose pediatrics not only to help children who are ill and scared, but to also help the parents that are worried and terrified about what could happen to their children.

Why I chose Valley Children’s:
I chose Valley Children’s because everything about it is geared for children, from its design to its staff. I wanted to work beside individuals who were just as motivated as me to help children and I felt that Valley Children’s exemplified that aspect best.

Hobbies:
I love to run, play soccer, go hiking and spend time with my family. I also binge watch TV shows when they are released.

Advocacy, Interests and Research Accomplishments:
I am interested in spreading awareness about congenital heart disease, as well as future research in that area.

Care Philosophy:
I believe that utilizing the tools of empathy, approachability, and honesty are essential to building a bond between the patient and the physician that allows me to practice patient centric care.
