Michelle Nguyen, DO
Yorba Linda, CA
I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology with a minor in psychology. I attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, where I found my interest in pediatrics after my third year core rotation. I liked that pediatrics was a combination of medicine, patient education and opportunity to work with younger children and adolescents, each of which are reasons I wanted to go to medical school in the first place.
What I love about Valley Children’s:
Valley Children's services a wide diversity of patients and has many research opportunities to help me continue with my medical education. Its staff is dedicated to the community that they service and that's the kind of physician I aspire to be.
I enjoy going to concerts, rock climbing, swimming and playing video games (PC and console!).
Advocacy, Interests and Research Accomplishments:
In the past, I have volunteered with organizations to help provide healthcare, especially through community awareness and education events. I am interested in continuing this throughout residency and working with various age groups, especially adolescents.
