Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program?
Being a Central Valley native, I was drawn to the community and location served by Valley Children’s along with the opportunity to work and train in a standalone children’s hospital. The residency program emphasizes a balance between training and education with resident wellness.
Cycling, strength training, running, fishing, grilling, working on cars, riding motorcycles/dirt bikes.
Advocacy and/or Research Accomplishments:
My previous research includes Frenectomy research and its effects on newborn weight gain.
Preventative health is a vital component of pediatrics. Encompassing regular doctor visits and immunizations as well as education about healthy living. As a pediatrician I will strive to lead by example and promote an active and healthy lifestyle with the goal of avoiding preventable diseases in our youth.
