Why did you choose Valley Children's Pediatric Residency Program?
I grew up in the Central Valley and remember Valley Children’s being extremely involved in the community. I always knew that I wanted to return to the Central Valley and give back to the community in which I grew up. Everyone at Valley Children’s has such a passion for learning and making sure that the community receives the best health care possible.
Hobbies:
I love horseback riding, drawing, watching Disney+/Netflix, hiking, and visiting local breweries.
Advocacy and/or Research Accomplishments:
I loved being involved with Reach Out and Read that ensures that families have children’s books to read at home and Walk with a Doc that encourages an active lifestyle. My previous research has included a case report on leukemia.
Care Philosophy:
I believe in treating the patient as a whole and giving equal opportunity no matter the patient’s race, cultural beliefs, socioeconomic background, and sexual orientation.
