Why did you choose Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency Program?
When I interviewed at Valley Children’s, I immediately realized it was a special place that was passionate about advocating for the Central Valley’s most vulnerable children, and the physicians and staff were equally dedicated to education. I knew that this was the type of program I was looking for that recognized the importance of social justice and tirelessly worked to train and educate future physician activists.
Clinical Areas of Interest:
Health education, eliminating health disparities
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, participating in Zumba, swimming, dancing, spending time outdoors, traveling and exploring new places.
In the future, I hope to stay in primary care as an outpatient pediatrician within academic medicine.
