Why did you choose Valley Children's Pediatric Residency Program?
During my interview, the cooperative and supportive energy between residents and faculty was palpable in the morning report/meeting. Even during the academic discussions, it was clear the focus on compassionate patient care was always in mind. The combination of focus on compassionate care and a supportive working/learning environment is the type of residency program that I knew I would succeed in.
Volleyball, badminton, racquetball, kayaking, any social exercise, hiking with my dog, guitar, video games, comic book movies
Advocacy &/or Research Accomplishments:
My previous main research involvement involved clinical research in adult non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which including clinical drug trials, testing new imaging modalities, and registry studies.
What is your Care Philosophy?
I believe that by forming partnerships with my patients and their families, I will not only help guide them toward their health goals but also empower them through teaching and compassionate care to be health-conscious, thereby laying the foundations for a healthy life.
