The annual Nursing Excellence Award ceremony Wednesday – part of National Nurses Week – honored the four Valley Children’s nurses recognized for their outstanding work, leadership and innovation, a team of nurses making great contributions toward our Mission and Vision and a friend of nursing who has worked to tirelessly support our nursing staff.
“This is one of my most favorite weeks of the year, and one of my favorite days,” said Beverly Hayden-Pugh, SVP of clinical integration and patient experiences and chief nursing officer. “It’s an honor to recognize our nurses for the work they do and the care they give.”
