(Madera, Calif.) – In April, Valley Children’s launched a new patient portal: MyChart. The new tool helps us engage patients and their families with a fast, easy, and secure way to stay connected with their healthcare provider and information from the convenience of their home computer, laptop, or mobile device.

With MyChart, families can securely communicate with their child’s medical team and staff, access their child’s medical information including immunization records, visit summaries, and various results including lab results, pay bills, and request prescription refills, among many other benefits. In addition, when patients sign up with MyChart through Valley Children’s, they can see their health information from other organizations through the Happy Together network. If a patient has an existing medical record at another organization, they can link those records with their MyChart account at Valley Children’s.

MyChart is available to all Valley Children’s patient families free of charge, and families can sign up anytime by visiting www.valleychildrens.org/mychart or at their next visit at any registration area. Once the sign up process is completed, users can access MyChart on their mobile devices by downloading the free MyChart app for both iOS and Android.

For questions about MyChart, families are encouraged to email Valley Children’s MyChart team at MyChart@valleychildrens.org, or by calling them at 559-353-5404, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. In addition, families can always ask their child’s care team MyChart questions during any visit to a Valley Children’s location.

For more information about MyChart, visit www.valleychildrens.org/mychart, or review frequently asked questions about the patient portal in both English and Spanish.
