Dr. Zachary Wright joined Valley Children’s in August 2018 and serves as medical director of pediatric neurosurgery at Valley Children's Hospital.

Dr. Wright is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He has presented his research at joint section meetings of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. His work has also been published in Pediatrics in Review and Youman's Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Wright received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He began his training in neurosurgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pennsylvania and then completed his neurosurgical residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. During this time, he also served as the Associate Medical Director at Zucker Institute for Applied Neurosciences in South Carolina. Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Wright was a Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
