Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology, Dr. Sebnem Ozdogan joined Valley Children’s as a pediatric pulmonologist in September 2020.
Prior to Valley Children’s, Dr. Ozdogan worked as a pediatric pulmonologist and an associate professor of pediatric pulmonology at Sisli Hamidiye Etfal Research and Training Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. Over the years, Dr. Ozdogan has also served as a general pediatrician at hospitals including Gebze Medical Center and Acibadem Hospital in Turkey.
Dr. Ozdogan belongs to several professional societies, including the American Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society, Turkish Thoracic Society and National Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society.
After earning her medical degree from Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey, Dr. Ozdogan completed a residency in pediatrics at Dokuz Eylul University Hospital in İzmir, Turkey. She then attended Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida for a fellowship in pediatric nephrology. Dr. Ozdogan went on to complete a second residency in pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York, New York and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children’s Hospital and Research Center at Oakland, California.
