Practice Philosophy
As a student on my first clinical rotation in New York City, I was immediately struck by the resiliency of children and families in the face of unexpected illness. I quickly realized that advocacy was a key tenet of pediatrics; one of the main goals of pediatrics is working to advance the best interests of any given patient in my care. I eventually came to choose pediatric cardiology as my subspecialty, allowing me to advocate across a broader group of patients.
In my practice, I care for expectant mothers (fetal cardiology), children, adolescents and young adults with congenital heart disease. In addition to partnering with patients and families, I work closely with my entire team and coordinate with your primary care provider to ensure the optimal health of your child.
