Additional Valley Children’s positions Dr. Kinnison holds today include: medical director, emergency preparedness; chair, board of directors, Valley Children’s Specialty Medical Group; chair, department of medicine; and chair, Marketing, Strategy and Communications Committee. Dr. Kinnison received his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine, in Maywood, Illinois. He completed a pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno. The residency training he received at Valley Children’s Hospital inspired him to become a pediatric hospitalist.
