Jeremy Fox, MD
Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist, Willson Heart Center

First in the classroom and now at Valley Children’s Hospital, Dr. Jeremy Fox has made a career of helping kids.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Harvard University, Dr. Fox spent the next two years as part of Teach for America, a program designed to identify promising and diverse leaders, develop their classroom teaching skills, and place them in schools across the country where their impact is immediate and life-changing for the children they serve. At a middle school in San Jose, Dr. Fox taught 8th grade math and science, started the school’s first science fair and coached the boys and girls cross country teams.

Dr. Fox attended medical school at the University of Michigan and completed his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He completed his clinical fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, followed by a fourth year as senior fellow in interventional cardiology. During his clinical fellowship, Dr. Fox participated in pediatric clinical research, including the “Safety and Efficacy of Transcatheter Balloon Valvuloplasty of Mitral Melody Valves” and the “Effect of Enhanced Sterility Precaution on Melody Endocarditis Infection Rates.”  While a resident at UCLA, Dr. Fox, along with his colleagues, authored the American Academy of Pediatrics 2016 statement on poverty, Poverty and Child Health in the United States.

Joining Valley Children’s as a pediatric interventional cardiologist in September 2018, Dr. Fox brings extensive experience to the Willson Heart Center team. Dr. Fox has been involved in hundreds of catheritization procedures on children and adults, ranging from the simple to the complex. He also has a wide range of clinical experience in outpatient cardiology, echocardiography and electrophysiology.

He looks forward to serving the children of our Valley at the Willson Heart Center on the Madera hospital campus.
