Fellowship-trained in pediatric orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Thu-Ba LeBa joined Valley Children’s as a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon in August 2013. Her areas of clinical interest include scoliosis, hip pathology, and lower limb deformities.

Dr. LeBa is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. LeBa received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She did her internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at University of Texas, Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed her fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Shriners Hospital for Children at University of California, Davis in Sacramento, California.

Dr. LeBa is very active in her community and beyond. Her extracurricular activities include coaching women’s volleyball; coordinating Global World AIDS Week; coaching a Special Olympics swim team; participating in Operation Rainbow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to performing free orthopaedic surgery for indigent children and young adults in developing countries; and more.
