Board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Myra Lezine joined Valley Children’s as a pediatric emergency medicine physician in July 2014. 
 
Dr. Lezine’s previous positions include serving as a clinical assistant professor in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Pediatrics, and as an attending pediatric emergency medicine physician at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.

Dr. Lezine received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. She did her residency in emergency medicine at University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. She completed her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center, Department of Pediatrics in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Lezine has conducted, presented and published research on a variety of topics in her field. She has developed educational materials for pediatric emergency ultrasound and is also interested in international health issues.

Dr. Lezine is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling and cooking.
