Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and fellowship-trained in pediatric infectious diseases and pediatric critical care, Dr. Jeffrey Kingsley joined Valley Children’s in January 2013 as a pediatric hospitalist. Dr. Kingsley provides services in the North Valley at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Dr. Kingsley worked as an independent contractor at Valley Children’s providing pediatric hospitalist services in Turlock from 2008 to 2012. He also worked as a locum tenens pediatric hospitalist for Inpatient Specialists Medical Group, Inc., in Brea, California, and for Hospitalist Services Medical Group in Walnut Creek, California.

Dr. Kingsley has published in peer-reviewed journals, including Virology, Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology, Pediatrics, Blood, Glia, International Journal of Developmental Neuroscience, Association for Research Otolaryngology, and Society for Neuroscience.

Dr. Kingsley received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, in Omaha, Nebraska. He did his pediatric residency at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed a fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases from the combined pediatric infectious diseases fellowship program at Creighton University Medical Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.

Over the years Dr. Kingsley has been involved in various volunteer organizations, including serving as a committee member for the Cub Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of America, teaching and discussing preventive medicine and infectious disease issues in middle schools, participating in Habitat for Humanity, and serving as a Knights of Columbus member.
