Board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and fellowship-trained, Dr. Deepika Singh joined Valley Children’s in February 2017 as a pediatric rheumatologist. Her clinical interests include juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, vasculitis, and other autoimmune conditions.
Dr. Singh has published her work in peer-reviewed publications such as Arthritis & Rheumatology and Scientific Reports.
Dr. Singh is a member of several professional societies, including the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance, American College of Rheumatology, and American Academy of Pediatrics. In July 2018, Dr. Singh assumed the role of Director of Undergraduate Medical Education with Valley Children's Pediatric Residency Program.
Recently completing her postgraduate medical education and training, Dr. Singh received her medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She did her residency in pediatrics at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric rheumatology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, cooking and reading.
