Fellowship-trained in in pediatric orthopaedics, Dr. Kerry Loveland joined Valley Children’s as a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon in August 2013. His areas of clinical interest include all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics as well as sports medicine and scoliosis treatment.

Dr. Loveland has presented on topics in his field. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, including HAND. He is a member of several professional organizations, including Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA), and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Loveland received his medical degree from University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia. He did his fellowship in pediatric orthpaedics at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. The sports enthusiast also likes to run marathons, water/snow ski, backpack, and play basketball and ultimate Frisbee.
