Central Valley firefighters and law enforcement united to make sure Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for patients at Children’s Hospital Central California.Santa greets patient

With sirens blazing, they braved the chilly weather to deliver Santa Claus to the hospital.

And the kids were ready, waiting at the main entrance for a chance to spend time with the jolly ole elf.

The California State University, Fresno Women’s Soccer Team along with the team's mascot Timeout joined the firefighters and law enforcement officers. They all sang several Christmas carols, including “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.”

Following their performance, Santa’s helpers traveled throughout the hospital to give out stuffed animals and stickers. They included members of the Fresno Fire Department, Fresno Police Department, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Clovis Police Department and Clovis Fire Department.
