Santa Claus Spreads Cheer

Firefighters and law enforcement personnel escort St. Nick with sirens sounding bringing toys and songs to hospital patients.


Police officers and firefighters from throughout the area escorted Santa Claus to Children's Hospital Central California as he visited with patients. This marks the 27th year Santa on fire trucklocal law enforcement and fire personnel have brought cheer to Children's.

The group was joined by Fresno Grizzlies mascot, Parker, as they sang carols and distributed presents and holiday cheer to patients. More than 50 elves from area Target stores also joined in on the festivities as they greeted patients, families and guests.  Target donated all of the gifts given to patients.
