Fresno Volunteer of the Year Awards


The individuals and businesses who make a difference in the lives of patients at Children's Hospital Central California were among those honored by the Volunteer Center of Fresno during its annual Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon.

93.7 KISS Country received the "Spirit of Caring Award" for its support of the annual Radiothon and Change Bandit program which benefits Children's.

La Tienda Guild Member Phyllis Graves and Children's Volunteer Taylor Leech were among the finalists for Outstanding Senior and Outstanding Adult Volunteer of the Year respectively.

Each year the Volunteer Center hosts the Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon in recognition and celebration of community volunteers. This event honors individuals who have made a difference by generously giving their time and talent in an effort to help improve the quality of life in the Central Valley.
