Wells Fargo Customers Choose Children's

Hospital Wins $100,000 in Wells Fargo 160th Anniversary Promotion


As a part of its 160th anniversary, Wells Fargo sponsored a promotion in markets throughout the nation to provide $160,000 to three non-profit organizations they selected in each market. For a two-week period at the end of February, regional Wells Fargo customers using ATMs could vote for one of three non-profits, including Children's Hospital.

Wells Fargo LogoChildren's Hospital Central California received the most votes in the region, and will be presented with $100,000. Each of the other two non-profits will receive $30,000.

"To be the top recipient from their $160,000 donation program, is a wonderful tribute to the physicians and care givers at Children's Hospital and to the quality care this team provides to the ill and injured children of our valley. Needless to say, we are deeply grateful to our friends at Wells Fargo and to all of their customers who voted for Children's. This wonderful support helps us stay on the leading edge of quality care for children."

The region Children's competed in included: Amador, Calaveras, Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles (Antelope Valley), Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono, Monterey, San Benito, San Joaquin, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Stanislaus, Tulare and Tuolumne counties.
