Pumpkins Roll in to Hospital

Best-Agri Marketing lights up faces of Children's Hospital patients

Fall rolled in to Children’s Hospital as Best-Agri Marketing unloaded a special delivery and a “pumpkin patch” was set up in the Pumpkin delivery to Children'sChild Life play area at the hospital. Best-Agri Marketing, Inc. donated more than 200 pumpkins from their “Harvest Moon Pumpkin Patch” in Traver allowing patients who had to spend their Halloween at Children’s a chance to take part in the holiday festivities.

Patients got a special treat when President of Best-Agri Marketing, Todd Soares, his daughter Jaclynn, plus members of their staff personally delivered pumpkins to patients in the Children’s Rehabilitation Unit and other patient care areas. The kids were Patient receives pumpkinoverjoyed and excited when they got to choose their very own pumpkin to decorate their room.

One child played with her Barbies and didn’t stop for a minute, except to explain where she would like her pumpkin to be placed.  Most likely the pumpkin transformed into a beautiful carriage for her Barbies in her imagination as she played in bed.  Mom was so thankful for such a kind gift and personally thanked the Soares family for their generosity.

Many children were so excited, they came out of their rooms with huge Boy comes out of room to pick out pumpkinsmiles on their faces and picked out their very own pumpkin.
