More than 300 Madera and Fresno preschoolers and elementary school students brought their favorite stuffed animals to Valley Children’s for the annual Teddy Bear Health Fair on November 3.
Valley Children's doctors, nurses and staff members performed wellness checks on their stuffed animals and the kids watched as some of their other favorite toys went through some of the same procedures our patients do, making the hospital feel like a more welcoming place.
Valley Children’s Child Life department has organized the Teddy Bear Health Fair for more than 15 years.
