As COVID-19 developments evolve, Valley Children’s continues to revise and implement new safety precautions in an ongoing effort to protect all staff, our patients and our community. In an effort to identify those with symptoms of respiratory illness or COVID-19, Valley Children’s will begin drive-through visitor screenings as you enter hospital property on the Madera campus, effective Thursday, April 9, 2020.
We are not conducting COVID-19 tests at our drive-through visitor screening area.
All visitors will receive a drive-through visitor screening daily, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. This enhancement to existing visitor guidelines will also limit foot traffic throughout our hospital while reducing the risk of exposure for patients, families and care teams.
We ask that all guests plan ahead and follow the directional signage throughout campus to ensure you reach your destination on time. Thank you for your continued patience as we prioritize your health and safety.
