(Bakersfield, California) – Families are invited to an open house Saturday for Valley Children’s newest outpatient center, Eagle Oaks Specialty Care Center. The event features balloon animals, a photo booth, refreshments and book giveaway (while supplies last). Children are also invited to check out the center’s interactive art exhibits and visit with Valley Children’s mascot, George.
Eagle Oaks Specialty Care Center is a 52,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical designed for children, providing the best pediatric specialty care in the Valley. Eagle Oaks Specialty Care Center currently offers services in 10 pediatric specialties: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Urology. Over time, Valley Children’s will add: Genetics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology and Rheumatology/Immunology.
Valley Children’s currently has specialty care centers in Fresno, Merced, Visalia and Modesto. Two more are under construction in Modesto (February 2019) and Fowler (Spring 2019). Plans are also underway to build additional specialty care centers in Visalia and north Fresno.
